I would like to use ASP to create a sort of directory page that shows all posts of a certain type when the page loads, and then can be filtered using ASP’s search and filters.

What would be the best way to achieve something like this?

Right now I have set up a search instance that selects the desired post type and have set it to use a Block layout with Auto Populate set to a blank search. Is this the best way to achieve something like this?

    Hi,

Using the auto-populate with the predefined setup is the best way of using this, you are doing it correctly 🙂

Thank you. I forgot to mention the problem I am having with this – when I click elsewhere on the page, the results disappear, as if they were set to Hover. Surely I am missing a setting somewhere?

You can turn off that default behaviour here: https://i.imgur.com/zKrxwtj.png
That should do the trick 🙂

Ugh, silly that I didn’t see that. Thanks very much! Please close the ticket.
