ParticipantHello,
We’ve got ASP working just about the way we need it to at this point, but we’ve got one thing I’m trying to figure out. Using an Advanced Title Field for attachments. We’re able to customize the display of the search results for pages, but are unable to do so for attachments/media. I assumed the Post Type Results Field setting under Advanced options would translate to the files, but it doesn’t seem like it has.
Is there a setting I’ve overlooked? I’d like to include the file type, tag, etc. for attachments, like I do for the pages. See attached for the current settings and results example.
Thanks!

KeymasterHi,
They should apply actually, the media file search inherits that from the post type search. I have tried to replicate this, but it seems to be working all right on my end. This might be a yet unknown bug, but I’m not sure how yet.
Can you please add temporary (s)FTP and back-end access so I can play around with the configuration and debug the query? I would like to debug the code to see what exactly is going on and why the field is not parsed correctly.

KeymasterThank you!
Unfortunately none of the details work. I can log-in with the back-end account, but it does not have sufficient privileges to open the admin area.
I also tried the SFTP details, the server says it denies password authentication. Can you please check those?

KeymasterThank you, I can access the back-end but still does not let me in via SFTP. I tried to use the plugin file editor as a temporary measure, but it’s restricted from editing the files (which is a good thing actually).

KeymasterThank you Brendan. Usually it’s not an issue, I can answer fairly quickly, but I had a few very busy days, and I couldn’t answer sooner.
Either way, this worked perfectly. I have found the issue and corrected it. I have also noted this on the bug tracker so I can create a more robust solution for the upcoming release.

ParticipantThank you! No worries about the delay – I’m just sorry I didn’t think of the file manager before. It would have made things go quicker.
Anyway, thanks again. I appreciate you taking a look and fixing!
