    Hi Ernest,

My site is live to users at https://pathologybazaar.com.

My issue is I have a custom front-end settings filter on header as a dropdown. User can select a single value of dropdown and then make a search..

Once the user clicks on result and search result page is loaded the settings filter sets to default value. Issue is why will user have to set the front-end settings filter again and again everytime for a search . This seems to me as incorrect logic.

Please help us in fixing this.

    Many thanks
    Sandy

    Hi Sandy,

I’m afraid this is the correct behavior, as the information about the filter states is lost during the redirection from one page to another.
The only way to do this is via custom coding, but it might be a very problematic task – as either cookies or the browser local storage has to be used to stored the filter states.

    Best,
    Ernest Marcinko
