Doc/PDF containing page not appearing in the search result

Hi Ernest,

Thanks for the great plugin!

I have a question. If I upload a doc/ pdf to a post/ page and search the text within the document/ pdf, now only the document appears in the search result but not the page/post containing post. Do I need to click ‘Create new index’ every time when upload a new pdf/ document?

Hi,

Thank you very much!

Unfortunately it is not possible to search the post based on the attached media, only the media file by it’s contents. You can set however to redirect the media result to it’s parent post.
