    Hi there,

    This is the problem I am having with the plugin. When you type in the search terms, it provides correct results but when you use the dropdown it provides the same exact results no matter what is selected in the dropdown. Why is this? And how to fix this?

    Ernest said to update the plugin, but when the plugin was initially purchased it was through CodeCanyon. I have a license number that was just purchased on your Ajax search site that’s active and I need help with how to do the update inside the WordPress dashboard without removing the currently active search criteria that is already setup in the plugin.

    Hi,

    Thank you for all the details, it helps a lot!

    The most likely cause is that those results might be unrelated to the taxonomy, which by default are not excluded. Make sure to turn off this option, it will very likely resolve the problem.

    This setting was already turned off, so that is not the cause. Please login to the site and let me know what the issue is as this is now become an URGENT matter. Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi,

    Sure! I have logged in, and the issue was that the plugin was very outdated, almost 2 years old version was installed. I have updated to the latest and the issue is resolved – it was likely a bug that was solved previously.
