Empty searches

Hi,

I’m searching regular products and the pages that finds are empty:

And here are some empty pages, like tag or brand:

Hi Miguel,

I am not sure I understand the problem correclty, but I am guessing you are not getting results when hitting the enter/magnifier icon?
In that case make sure that:
– The redirection to the results page is configured correctly
– And that the search override is enabled

Thanks for your reply.

The issue is that those pages are empty when the searches made, so is showing nothing.

I don’t know what is the issue, but those pages are blank and the searches are not useful. So the engine is finding something and is showing a empty page.

I can’t see the plugin active, I also checked the back-end to check your configuration, but it is not activated.

Have you checked the documentation guides I linked previously?
– Make sure that the correct post types (Product) is selected (you only need to choose Product)
– The redirection to the results page is configured correctly
– And that the search override is enabled

Hi,

Yes, the plugin is not active because I deactivated.

Now is active, and the products searches are working, but when a brand is displayed in the search, the page is blank, although there are products under this brand/manufacturer.

You can try this search: Seid

If you click in the firsts results like: Seid, Seidibion, Seidiferty, SeidiSoy or Seidivid, they are empty, but it shouldn’t.

Hi Miguel,

I think I uderstand now. So when you search for product categories, and the plugin returns them, it redirects to a 404 page.

Unfortunately, that is not related to the plugin, as the category URLs are returned by wordpress itself. The plugin just displays the links.

For example, try clicking on this category on the product you linked: https://i.imgur.com/MPkXDPL.png
It will lead to a 404 page: https://luaterra.com/categoria/salud-sexual/fertilidad/hombre/

Similar thing happens with some of the product ‘Etiquetas’. For example, on this product, if you click this item: https://i.imgur.com/Ul7XEu6.png
That also leads to an empty page.

This usually happens when the permalink structure is configured incorrectly on the back-end. If you have any plugin active that may change the permalinks, or affect the products page, that could also explain that.
