Excerpt length doesn´t work on search result page

Hi Ernest,

I have set the display of the excerpt to 55 words. See attached screenshot.
But the value of the excerpt is ignored.
Please search on this page: https://kuechenzentrum-mg.de/suchergebnisse/ for e.g. “küche” and you will see what I mean.

Can you help me please with this issue ?

Hi,

Are the excerpt lengths correct, when you simply visit the results page (and does not trigger the search)?
The layout there is controlled by Elementor, our plugin only tells elementor which results to display, so it should not affect anything regarding the layout whatsoever.
If the issue persist even when you does not trigger the search, then this is very likely an issue with Elementor.
