We created a filter to exclude results by a certain custom field. Then in index table setnig, do we need to index the same custom field?
Hi,
No indexing is required for that custom field – it is redundant, the filter always queries the metadata table to verify the information. You only need to index the field, if you want to search by it’s contents.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questsions.
