Hi,
I face the following problem: I have configured the search to redirect to this custom url “/xxxxxxxx/?s={phrase}&post_type=product” (“xxxxxx” is my woocommerce product permalink base). I have also selected the option “Οverride the default WordPress search results with results from this search instance”
When I do a search, indeed I get redirected to woocommerce and everything seems fine. But when I use the left bar filters, the filtering does not happen for results from the search instance. Instead the default wordpress search results are being filtered.
Example:
Searching for “example” leads to this url:
Then when I select a category the search {phrase} gets lost:
https://cosmorama-travel.gr/κατηγορίες/κατηγορία-ταξιδιού/ατομικά-ταξίδια/?s=example
If you would like to see it for yourself, you can use this link:
Is there a way to prevent the search {phrase} from being replaced/ignored?
Kind regards,
GeorgeAttachments:

I’m afraid that is caused by that 3rd party filter plugin. Generally mixing/using multiple search/filter plugins at the same time is not the best idea. While I am sure developers try to do the best to make everything as much compatible as possible, but these are extremely hard to combine together.

Thank you for your prompt response. Yes, you are right about the 3rd party plugin. I thought I’d ask anyway in case you had an idea that could help me with this problem.Best,
GeorgeMay 16, 2022 at 2:59 pm #37788You are very welcome, I am sorry I can not help with this. Usually I suggest code modifications or custom code, but in this case it is much more complicated than that.
Best,
