Filters are not behaving correctly.
If you select “appartments” on http://www.gardalake.net/ you get zero results but you can see from the taxonomy page that is not correct http://www.gardalake.net/type-of-accomodation/apartment/, the same thing occours for other filters like “air conditioning” with no apparent logic
Can you help me understand and fix the problem, we are a little bit in a hurry, we should make this our primary website on tuesday because the server of the old website is going to expire the day after.
Thank you very much
October 20, 2017 at 6:00 pm #15224I’ve enabled the option “Advacned Custom Fields: use the ACF get_field() function to get the metadata?” and now seems too behave better, can you explain me the difference? I have to double check if it is all working correctly so, please have a look at the site to check if it’s all correctly set up
October 20, 2017 at 6:05 pm #15225Hi,
I was just about to leave home for the weekend, you got me in time, I won’t be able to answer till monday.
So, I have looked at the configuration, and the default filter logic is to ‘match everything checked, exclude everything unchecked’. So, if only Apartments were checked, all the other boxes were treated to be excluded – but because all apartments are categorized in the same taxonomy multiple times, they were excluded.
I have switched to a more fitting logic, this should display more likely expected results: https://i.imgur.com/I8E2E2v.png
I hope this helps!
Best,

October 20, 2017 at 6:08 pm #15226Thank you very much, i don’t think that was the main problem (which i think I have somehow fixed enabling acf compatibility) but it’s a thing I should have to fix anyway, Have a nice weekend, I will update the ticket if I will see some other problem 🙂
October 20, 2017 at 6:12 pm #15227ok, it was your fix that worked, not mine, I just did it at the same exact time, I just cheked it, thank you again 🙂
