filters unselected by default

Sure! The option is missing from the UI, but you can make them unchecked by not selecting any post types on the Search Sources -> Post Type search panel: https://i.imgur.com/C6f8ec9.png

sorry but I do not follow, I do not see any tick there in search sources (There I have just configured the type of sources for the results, which is fine -> All post and CPT = Grados).

Sorry, I may have explained incorrectly. Whichever post types are not choosen on the Search Sources -> Post Type search box, they will appear as unselected by default.
In you canse you only need to choose the Estudios post type, and the other one is going to be unchecked, like this: https://i.imgur.com/fsQWDwp.png
That will result in the exact output from your screenshot.

Sure, no problem! The setup I recommended will do exactly as you described. When the user checks the “Alojaimento” checkbox, they will get results from that post type too. It does not matter if it is unselected on the general options, because by checking the checkbox it will override that.
I went ahead, logged in and changed the post type settings accordingly, you can test it 🙂
