Footer Problem

Hello,

we have the following problem:
Ajax Search Pro also searches the texts in the footer of one of our websites, but it is not allowed to do so.
The footer is a template that was created using Elementor.
Under “Advanced options” > “Exclude/Include Results” > “Exclude posts/pages/cpt” we have already set the footer under “Exlude”. Nevertheless, hits that refer to the footer appear again and again in the search.

Could you please help us?

Hi,

Unless the footer is part of the post content, or a selected field, the plugin will not search it – it is impossible. First, check if there are any custom fields selected for search, it is possible, that some parts of the footer might be stored there.
