Hi,
I set up the frontend search to display parent categories when starting typing into search field. In settings preview everything looks fine, the problem is on a website itself, please screenshots attached. I went through documentation and knowledge base and couldn’t find the solution. Could you please check it?
Thank you in advance.
Best,

The problem here is, that there is actually 4 search bars on the front page printed by the theme, but on the desktop view only that one is actually “visible”. That option applies to all of the search bars of course, so opening 4 hovering setting boxes – and the one you see is a floating box that cannot attach to an invisible search bar.
Best,
I suggest a few possible solutions:
– Not having that option active, instead let the user open the settings: https://i.imgur.com/wW2Igy3.png
– Having the options printed as a block: https://i.imgur.com/zdaSa4R.png
This however may require additional styling, as it depends on the parent container element styling as well (theme styling).
– ..or using the search shortcode instad, to manually place the search bar to the page, avoiding the duplicate prints
