Hi,
I recently messaged you about Google Analytics not showing the search data. You instructed me to use “ajax_search” as the Query Parameter, and it now works perfect. I have another site that I use the Lite version of your plugin on and updated it to the same, but so far no results. Is there something different I need to do on the Lite version or the plugin? I am using Universal Analytics and I do have “Enable search Google Analytics integration” turned on.
Thanks,

The default configuration should work for the lite version as well. I’m guessing there might be javascript related issue or something similar there. The screenshot looks fine to me.
Also, make sure the Google analytics pageview string for the lite version is:
?ajax_search={asl_term}

Note that there is one character difference in that string from the Pro version. (the string is asl_term in the lite version instead of asp_term)
If that sits as well, there might be a different problem. If you can, please link the page here and I will take a look.

September 19, 2016 at 10:03 am #10164Hi!
I’ve checked the configuration, the page source and the console, but I could not find any errors.
Then I remembered I had a tag assistant extension available by google, which tells you if there are issues with the analytics tracking code. When I run the extension on your page, I see this error: https://i.imgur.com/fE89lNc.png
Missing analytics.js script
Which is weird, because I can see the analytics integration code, although it looks a bit different from the recommended one here: https://goo.gl/Nl5HK
My guess is that during the page load something either unloads/changes this script. I honestly don’t know.
Best,
