What is the setting that highlights all the instances of the search terms in the post? While I understand the purpose, it clutters up the article too much. What is the best way to limit this feature? Can it highlight the most relevant passage or something similar?

You can turn off this feature here if needed.
Unfortunately there are is currently no option to limit the number of highlights on a single page – however it sounds like a great idea. I think I can add an option to limit the maximum number of highlights for the upcoming release.

Is it possible to highlight only the exact match search? Currently, if the search uses multiple keywords, then every instance of every keyword is highlighted.
I’m afraid that is not possible, and I am not sure if there is a solid way to implement it either (due to how DOM is handled within javascript).
