    Hi,
I have successfully set up an ‘all website’ search.
However I would like to set up a search that works on an individual page in my website (my pages are quite long). This should identify and highlight the search term that the user selects – a bit like Google search or Command-F on a Mac.
I have liked through the support documentation and done plenty of googling but cannot see how to specify this search.
Please could you tell me how to to do this?
    Thanks for you help.
    Richard

    Hi Richard,

That is not possible. Any search plugin for wordpress can only return individual objects as search results – such as pages, posts etc.. A single page will be only a single result.
The only way to achieve this is by custom coding a front-end search engine.
