How does the “statistics” work? Is it when someone click the product and then the statistics records it?
Or
Is it as soon as someone type something and stop for x seconds then the statistics records it?
Hi,
No – the statistic only records the keyword phrases, and how many times they were searched. If you want more in-depth stats, then I recommend using the google analytics integration with events tracking.
Best,Does this mean that as soon as visitors type a phrase without clicking any resulted product, the statistics will trigger?
Yes – that is doable via the Live search end event tracking.
Best,Do you have documentation about setting up the Analytics?
Sure, here it is.
