How to add a default placeholder

I made a Custom Field for the authors and i wanted to know if it is possible to add a default value filter:all as a placeholder
as you se in the attached image the first value Author is the current default which filter all the posts.

Hi,

Sure, you can do it like this:

||Choose one
{get_values}

That will display the empty “Choose one” option before all the values.
