I was wondering how I could setup an author filter for the search. I can’t find anything related to this in the documentation unfortunately.

Do you mean filter results by post author on the front-end? I’m afraid that is not yet possible. The only way currently is to exclude items by authors statically.
Ah, bummer. I think I misunderstood what the plugin supported then with the filters when I originally purchased. Would it be possible to get a refund as this is a primary functionality we need for search.
