Hello,
We want to make a search page specific to pages and similar to the staff search page sample on your site.
So what we are trying to achieve is have our viewers search for services around the world. We have multiple pages of different states/countries. We want to allow viewers/customers to search for the state or city or name they want.
Page of example search page: https://www.beyoutifulfoundation.com/2190-2/
Page of state/country (we have multiple pages): https://www.beyoutifulfoundation.com/services-near-you-california/For example:
• Customer searches “cali….” and California shows
• Customer searches “Los angeles…” and California shows
• Customer searches for name in california and california showsHow we want it to look:
1. Search bar up top
2. Cities below the search bar with the thumbnail images or titles of page only. (Pages only, not posts)How we want the search to work:
• Search for state or country and only the pages below the search bar show
• Search for name or cities within these specific pagesDoes this make sense?
Please help us as we want to launch this page already
April 5, 2019 at 1:31 pm #22041Hi,
I see you have a search bar setup that searches pages and the results box is below the search bar. I have logged in to check, and the general options are also set up correctly, to search only the pages.
If you want to exclude some of the pages, that you don’t want as results, you can do that under the Advanced Options panel, this documentation will help you with that.
I see you have some filters present as well, if you don’t need those, you can disable them here: https://i.imgur.com/H5EQCog.pngI hope this helps!

The results need time to populate, they show as soon as the server responds to the request. You can make it a bit faster, by trying to enable the cache here: https://i.imgur.com/V6CX6MU.png
Best,
It will not be instant, but it should save a couple of requests and a few milliseconds.
