Hello!
Thanks for a wonderful plugin
I bought your plugin today. I have questions.
I have a post in the English language, what would you have been more convenient.
Here it is: http://musme.ru/musician/this-is-musician-name.html
1)
This post has a name:”This is musician name”
And here is my first question!
If I enter the search word “this”, the search finds nothing
If I enter the search word “name”, the search finds nothing
If I enter the search word “musician”, search finds this post
why ?
2)
This post belongs to the category “GUITAR” and has the tags: indie, rock.
If I enter the search word “GUITAR”, the search finds nothing
If I enter the search word “indie” or “rock”, the search finds nothing
Why does my search does not show the positions of these categories and posts with these tags?
3)
We have a post meta field – ads_city.
In this case, it is New York
If I enter the search word “New York”, search finds this post, but when clicking on search icon, this post not showing in results.
Sorry for my english. just use google translate))))-

KeymasterHi!
Sorry, I had an urgent issue to fix today and had to leave eary, I didnt have time to check your problem. Tomorrow morning when I get back to the office I will do it first thing. Don’t worry, it’s probably only something with the configuration. Thank you for your patience!

KeymasterHi!
Can you please link me to a page where the search is enabled? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Also, I’m glad you provided vps login info, but I still cannot log in to the backend of your site, and I don’t want to change anything yet with the hosting control panel. Can you please add a login to the musme.ru/wp-admin backend area as well? Then I can check the search configuration.
Thank you!

Sorry, I see now, my bad. I have found the problem, it was actually a bad value in the relevance options panel: http://i.imgur.com/f1McpeE.png

ParticipantGreat support! Thanks!
ButIf I enter the search word “New York” or “Guitar” or “Indie”, search finds this post, but when clicking on search icon or “more results”, this post not showing in results. No posts found(

KeymasterOh yes. It’s because the search can not affect the search results on the default search page. Those are different results unfortunately.
But there are some free plugins to help you with that like: RelevanssiI believe that will help you to make a better results page.

Participant1)Is it possible to show the name of the category of the post in the search results using the Advanced Fields option?
2)Close result list on document click is “ON” in the settings!
I am writing in the search query, and then get a result.
Next I click on the document and the result is hidden
Then again, I clicked on the INPUT but the result is not displayed until you press enter.
Can I do that would result would reappear if the field INPUT again in focus?
3) When the page loads, in the field have placeholder from Default search text option. When INPUT in blur, placeholder not showing again…
Is it possible to change this? Many thanks for the excellent support and your work.
