Hi Ernest
Can you help please im rebuilding my site and using woo commerce for products aswell as other woo extensions like brands.subscriptins and memberships
firstly i managed to get it to work but only brand images would show. no product images or product descriptions.
after checking the settings and experimenting with no luck I added the code on this site you say to add to your theme function file if using woo commerce this made the images work except when you click on them they just display as an image of the product not the product post with price ad to cart etc
.Also the search results still only display images with no description and dont seem to find products that should be found.
some time recommendations for search show with actual products but when you click on them you get no results
i am also using jetpack photon with images not sure if this is an issue.
ive checked permissions of files and followed you recommendations not sure what to do now.Im hoping you know some lines of code for the child theme that will fix the issue
I given you admin access to the site let me know if you need more access i will create a new ftp accessthanks in advance

February 16, 2016 at 9:30 am #7715Hi!
The issue was that you had the “Return attachments as results?” option turned on. Since you don’t want attachments as result, but products, I turned it off: https://i.imgur.com/bMb1s3Y.png
Then, since you are using drop-down filter, I have changed the “Category/Taxonomy terms logic” option, since you want to match at least one of the selected terms, instead of all: https://i.imgur.com/CUWFr9Y.png
Now if I select the correct terms and enter a search phrase, it returns the correct products: https://i.imgur.com/Iflz17w.png

It’s not giving results because different categories and tags are selected. If you choose the correct categories, it will return the results.
