Index Table and random results

I’m using Ajax search pro with the regular search engine. I choose to have my results shown as random, so for every search there is a different order of results. Works well, but if I choose to use Index table, the results are never random, they are alwasy the same. Is this normal for index table, or is there a way to get index table search to produce random results?

Hi,

It looks like that is a yet unknown bug. I was able to confirm this on our test servers as well. At the moment the only resolution would be to directly edit the plugin code. This should not be a too difficult fix, and we are preparing the new plugin release at the start of next week. If that is okay with you, I wil try including a fix to this issue within that patch as well.
