Index table of custom taxonomy

Hi,

I use for my search only the “Taxonomy Terms Search” and there the taxonomy “Affiliate Store” https://imgur.com/a/vgNkNZm That works wonderfully, but if I try to use this setting also for the “Index Table”, I’ve got always no items to index https://imgur.com/a/KGxRW6n Do I have to set something else somewhere?

Hi,

The index table is for indexing Post Type items (like posts, pages, products etc..). In your case the index table playes no role, as you are needing the taxonomy terms as resuls, and not the post types as results based on the Affiliate Stores. Taxonomy terms table is already very well indexed, therefore it is not needed to index 🙂
