I have turned on “Return taxonomy terms as results”. My question: is it possible to display the taxonomy name in the results too?

Sure, you will need a tiny bit of custom code, but this knowledge base will explain everything.

May 15, 2022 at 6:54 pm #37786Somewhat related, is there anyway to assign a thumbnail image that would be used when taxonomies are shown in the search results? This would help them stand out compared to posts.
May 16, 2022 at 3:04 pm #37789Well, it is possible to define a “default” image to them, if that is what you are looking for: https://i.imgur.com/qpm82LQ.png
