KeymasterHi,
1. The auto populate is enabled for random results, thus is will be ordered randomy. If you want the date ordering, then instead use it as for the empty phrase: https://i.imgur.com/iDbJeRP.png
2. That is because of the previous custom code, where the auto populate does not affect the date filter, so basically the date filter there has no effect, until the filter is changed.

KeymasterHi,
1. It was because the primary ordering was set to Relevance. I have swapped the primary and secondary ordering to resolve that: https://i.imgur.com/9dSIhIh.png
2. It could be possible, but I need to know which search instances should still use the code. I can then make a tiny change to only apply the code on those search bars.

ParticipantPerfect. Thank you so much.
All the search instances are working as same. So, we need to apply this for all the search sections.May 2, 2019 at 11:45 am #22441Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterHi,
Okay, I can remove that previous custom code. But just to make sure, the date filter then will be in affect for the auto-populate. Previously you needed that. Are you sure I should remove that code?

ParticipantOk. I think you have understood my problem. I need to display only today’s and upcoming event. Do not want to show the past events. But, if we search for December 12, 2019 we need to display events from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. the the searched date is in between this.

KeymasterI don’t think there is an easy way to do that to be honest. I have looked at possible modifications, but nothing seemed to work that way. You might have to ask a developer for a custom job to achieve this.

ParticipantHi,
We have tried to update plugin to the latest version. But it showing an error that is “not compatible with the version of your word press”. We have the latest WordPress version 5.2. I have checked with plugin releases and it says only compatible up to WordPress 5.1. So how can we plugins to avoid any security issues. Also I can’t restrict the number of events to 6 on home page.

KeymasterHi,
The plugin is fully compatible with the latest WordPress version, you can safely ignore that message. We will push an update next week updating this string as well.
If you want to limit the results on the home page, then make sure that the general limit is set correctly. However please note, that in your case there are custom codes adding/removing items, so the number might need to be adjusted.

ParticipantHi,
When I click on the update now option, it says “Update Failed: Plugin update failed.”. What is the reason?May 27, 2019 at 9:44 am #22870Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterHi,
Make sure the license is activated for the auto update. If that does not work, then you can still manually update.
