I created a ticket on August 15, 2018 at 1:04 pm (post #18974) and was receiving help from Ernest Marcinko. I am hoping he can help review the previous ticket because the issues are happening again! I’m not sure if it was caused by updating the plugin, but I need Ernest’s assistance to help debug again.

If there was a direct change on the code via FTP by me, then a plugin update would definitely override that. Do you happen to have a back-up copy of the affected files by any chance from the last few months?
I’m asking because I don’t fully remember what exactly I did, as I answered a couple of hundred tickets in the meantime. I recall it was something with a custom field priority, but I am not exactly sure what it was.Ernest,
Exactly, it was with custom field priority. I can revert to an older version of the site, but I would like to ensure this doesn’t happen each time the plugin is updated. Below is our conversation we had a few months ago – of course I didn’t expect you to remember every detail!

Unfortunately this will happen with each update, as I had to directly modify one of the core plugin files for this requirement. Usually I try to somehow add a permanent way for future updates, but in this case I cannot do that, the change is too specific. I’m afraid the only way to have this change in this case is to not to update the plugin, as it will override the core files.
Ok got it. Can you help update the file to the way it was since I already updated the plugin? I can provide FTP access.
