ParticipantGood Morning
We are trying to use Ajax Search Pro as a search engine for a part of our website (Aplicaciones) but we cannot make it filter the documents assigned to it. Could you please check where the configuration error is so that it can work properly? When we mark part of the filters the search engine seems to work but does nothing and does not select any document. We’ll ppreciate if you could help us find the configuration error because we have not been able to see them.
Thank you very much

KeymasterHi,
Thank you very much for the details, I tried to log-in with the details, but I am getting this message, when trying to access the back-end URL: https://i.imgur.com/zfuA9kj.png
I think I still see the problem. The extra CSS class “asp_es_1” is placed on the wrong elementor widget. I am seeing the class name on the search block: https://i.imgur.com/SGGp4p4.png
That is not correct, make sure to remove that class from there, and place it on the posts widget: https://i.imgur.com/Lvq6zvF.pngThat should resolve the issue 🙂

ParticipantThank you very much Ernest.
Could you try to access again? It shouldn’t give you access problems.
The extra CSS class “asp_es_1” is already applied like this but it still doesn’t work. Can you review it again?
Thank youSeptember 23, 2020 at 9:20 am #29500Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterI still cannot access, the back-end I am getting the same error unfortunately.
The extra CSS class “asp_es_1” is placed on the wrong elementor widget as well. I am seeing the class name on the search block: https://i.imgur.com/SGGp4p4.png
If your remove that from the wrong elementor widget, it should resolve the issue.September 28, 2020 at 3:02 pm #29563bizmarketing36
ParticipantHi, I solved the wrong code. The problem is that it doesn’t filter well. “Sectores” “GanaderĂa y agricultura”: there are 6 entries in this category. Some entries have more than one category. I can’t get it to filter properly.

KeymasterI’m seeing it is working now at the moment. Are you sure that the correct search shortcode was used? It is important to use the same ID as the shortcode is: https://i.imgur.com/eJZuQct.png
For each search shortcode there is a different class code 🙂October 6, 2020 at 10:48 am #29652bizmarketing36
ParticipantHi. Attachment screenshot. There are 6 entries in the marked category. The search result is “no results”. The codes have been verified and are correct. Thank you.

KeymasterWith the default logic, the unchecked categories are treated as exclusions. Try using this one instead: https://i.imgur.com/AG7Bes9.png
