larger filter project

i think this plugin will work, but i need to be sure.

I’m about to do a project with x theme where i’ll have:

4 different types of customers (new, old, IT support, DEV)

someone will choose which type of customer they are

Once they select their type, lets say DEV they’ll then need to select something like say a button/switch for “white papers”, and a button/switch for “video”

So on the dev page a person selects, white paper button and video button, which then will automatically bring up all white papers in video formats instead of say white papers in pdf format. but if they deselect video, then all white paper search items would appear both video and pdf.

So would your plugin work for that?

Hi!

I’m afraid that this might not work. Dependent filtering is not yet implemented, and I believe you might be looking for that – if I understand correclty. So that when the ‘DEV’ is selected, then the other buttons appear.

But if you don’t need the depentent filters, then this should be possible – as long as these items are in separate taxonomies (or separate custom fields).
