ParticipantHi. I just purchased 6 mos of support at codecanyon, but it’s saying I don’t have support. Hopefully that updates on your end soon and you can help me anyway.
Problem: Latest products not showing in the ajax dropdown list of search results. They do appear if you go to the redirected page of search results.
Attempted solutions so far: rebuild the index, turn of caching, make products post type appear at top of results.
Theme/Plugin conflict testing: I don’t have a license to run this on my dev site, so I haven’t wanted to turn all the plugins off on my production domain.

KeymasterHi,
Codecanyon might need a few hours to clear the API cache to show the details correctly. If you can open a support ticket here, that means your purchase is valid for sure.
Can you please add temporary FTP and back-end details so I can check your configuration, and debug the code if neccessary? We have no similar reports of such problem, so I am guessing that it is either a newly discovered bug, or something specific with your configuration.

ParticipantThe custom server that this site is on only has access (and that is global access to all sites) via ssh keys. Would you be able to do what you need to with just the wp admin access? If not, I’ll contact my server admin and see if I can get him to set up ftp access to this site.
Thanks!

KeymasterHi,
I think so, if the built in plugin editor has permissions to make changes to the plugin files, then it should be okay. It is a bit reliable, so please make sure to have a full site back-up, just in case.

ParticipantGo ahead. I have automatic backups that run every 6 hours. If you’d prefer to work on the dev clone of this site, I’d just need another license that we could use for testing. That would allow you to turn off all the other plugins and do deeper testing if it would be your preference. Either way-working on the live or dev-is good for me. If you prefer the dev site, just let me know and I’ll get you login info.
Thanks for looking into this.

KeymasterHi Valerie,
Either one is fine by me 🙂 Can you please add the back-end details? Thank you!

KeymasterHi,
Thank you very much Valerie, I can log-in. However I am not able to access the plugin file editor, can you please check the account permissions?

ParticipantHi there–Forgot I turned that off. It’s on now, so you should be able to access those plugin files.
Let me know if you have any more issues.

KeymasterHi!
Thank you, I can access the editor now, however it did not allow me to make changes.
Fortunately I don’t need it anymore, as I spotted the issue by accident, when I check the Snippets you had active. There was this snippet: https://i.imgur.com/V6VnlxV.png
Since WooCommerce 3.0 the product visibility was moved from custom fields to taxonomies, and that snippet no longer works properly. I have simply deactivated it, and excluded the hidden products taxonomy as described in the updated knowledge base. Now it should be working all right.
