Live results and redirection to results page

Hi There,

Currently we have activated live results in your plugin on our website. My client was wondering if it is possible to keep live results activated AND add a search button which will redirect you to the Product search results page?

I checked this article in the documentation https://documentation.ajaxsearchpro.com/frontend-search-settings/search-button but i’m not sure if this makes it possible to have both options: Live results AND redirection to the results page.

Hi,

Sure, it is possible. I recommend to check the magnifier and return button actions. You can basically set both of them to redirect to the WooCommerce results page.
In your case, I’m noticing see that the magnifier is not visible because of it’s white color. If it is not intentional, then you can change that here, so the users can see it, and engage. There is also a search text you can define with it here.
The documentation you are reffering to is for a search button within the filter drop-down/box, it is also usable, but I think in your case the magnifier with the text is probably better, since you are not using the filters.

Thanks for your quick reply, this is exactly what i needed!

I have set the magnifier option and changed its color. Working fine now.

Great plugin! It’s just that because of all the options, it’s sometimes difficult to find what you need. But then again, the amount of customizations is unlimited.
