ParticipantHey!
I might have a “recommendation” or “feature request”.
I notice that on mobile, this search result behavior (I think you call it isotopic) https://suitsandveils.com/alle-trouwlocaties-in-nederland/
With the info bar that slides over it, on PC, it goes down, and then is clickable. On mobile, as it covers half the image, you cannot really “make it go down”, as clicking it makes it load the destination url.
I was thinking, maybe it’s a good user experience to have an option to slide the info down on the first click (so you can see the image), and then maybe it shows a “open arrow”, (something like this: https://thenounproject.com/browse/icons/term/new-tab/ ) , and when that is clicked, it opens the page.
This would give the same behavior as on PC, so that you can look trough the results first before opening a result you like 🙂 Just thinking out loud here to enhance user experience on mobile 🙂

KeymasterHi,
There is actually an option for that on the back-end to make the settings “hovering”, here: https://i.imgur.com/D55lF7n.png
That should do the trick 🙂

ParticipantThanks for the swift reply!
But I did not mean the settings, but the “overlay” that comes over images in the results, this one: https://prnt.sc/DB3CdcTu49q3
That “slides down” on pc, so you can see the image, but on mobile, it immediatly opens the link 🙂 would be cool if this could slide down on click on mobile, and then open the link at the second click. 🙂

KeymasterOh, I see 🙂
Well, in an older version there was a double-click method to first hide then click, but that we had to remove because it caused just way too many issues across devices. It was a really long time ago though.
I don’t think I can recommend a customization for this at the moment, and I don’t know if it’s a good idea to try – I remember it was super messy when we made it work, and some mobile devices were just not having it for some reason.
Either way, the isotopic results are going to be reworked as the script that handles the elements is a bit dated now. Maybe with the new setup we can handle this once again.
