Multi level category dropdown

I have a category structgure that is several levels deep. I am trying to make a drop down that first will show a list of all the partens, in my case, all car makes, Audi, BMW, BENZ etc.
Then if the user selects Audi then they get a second drop down where they see all the Audi models such as A4, A6, Q5 etc.
Then if the user selects A4, then they control the third drop down which only shows the children of Audi A4. I have set up a sample site here and you can see how far I have gotten. I see the heirchal option but it is not duiring what I am after. I don’t want heirachy on the first drip down to show everything. On the first drop down we only need to see the parts lists. Can this be achived? Please let me know.

*the parts lists. = I meant to say parents list.
In other words we need one drop down for each level where the drop downs are showing results based on what is selected on the previous dropdown (aka the parent dropdown).
