multistore wordpress/woocommerce

We need to use your plugin for MultiStore.
One shop will be on url https://daffer.sk
and other one on https://skoly.daffer.sk
(these links are not working yet)
We can’t use wp multisite, as both woocommerces will have different DB.
So we will use 2 wordpress instances.
In header – in both webs – there will be search box based on your plugin.
Can we cover searching in both wordpress instances in one searchbox?

Hi,

Unfortunately that is not possible, it would only work with WordPress multisite in this case. This will only work with two separate licenses.

So if I buy one more licence – I can use one search box and I will see results from both webs in one search result box?

I will be able to enable this in standard plugin admin?

No, that is still not possible even with multiple licenses, only multisite installations can allow access to cross site databases/code.
I was just reffering to the licensing terms.

So I need uniques license for each subdomain?

Hi,

For separate installations it is usually required, but there are exceptions. If the subdomain is used for organization purposes within the same context only, then one license is sufficient. If it covers a separate topic/use-case, then multiple licenses are needed. This topic reply from an Envato official will clarify what I mean.

If for same organisation (seling materials for schools and kids in school).
header/footer for both instances will be similar
One instance will cover stuff with fixed prices (pencils, pens …) second one will cover request for price calculation (tables, chairs).
I wil use one license. I hope it;’s okay.
