My search is really slow

Hi,

As you can see my search is really slow to pop up the results. Please help me out to fasten the search somehow. As the user is giving up to search.

Hi Unnati,

I believe the reason here is that there are lots of user fields to search within, and it takes time. I have made a few minor changes to the configuration to make sure the performance is fully optimized:
– I enabled the exact keyword matching. I believe this is the fastest in your case: https://i.imgur.com/ks270Nh.png
– I also enabled the search cache. Repetitive search queries should be much faster over time: https://i.imgur.com/Pa6Oo6X.png

Also, Can I search in profile attached resume file?

As you can see I have a user profile on Ajax search pro to search. And some of the users has a Resume or Bio attached to their user profile. Can I make searches in that file? So I can look into the attached file and search the keyword from it. Please let me know thanks.

Hi!

Well, if the atttached file is within the Media Library, then it might be possible to search for. Try enabling & configuring the search in attachments function.
