KeymasterI see your screenshots, but it is hard to tell only by looking at the front-end.
Can you please add temporary back-end and FTP details? I will check the configuration and debug the issue via FTP if needed.July 22, 2020 at 3:55 pm #28615kingshah89

KeymasterHi,
I understand it is the back-end, I was just reffering to the search that was visible on the site front-end. Thank you very much for the details!
I logged in, checked the categories, and tried the “test” search bar, a few queries, but all seem to be okay:
– “algoma”: https://i.imgur.com/Xe9y2qc.png
– “elliot”: https://i.imgur.com/PPkpcj2.png
– “brant”: https://i.imgur.com/TpXyghR.png
These all seem to be all right, and corresponding with the category names. I assume the issue is something else?July 22, 2020 at 4:33 pm #28620kingshah89

KeymasterThe post_tag and category taxonomies are not on the list on purpose, because they have these separate options. It is the same as if those two options did not exist, and were in the taxonomy list. We decided to have separate options for those two taxonomies, because they are built-in, and very commonly used.
I’m sorry, but I don’t understand what problem does this create? The plugin still searches the post categories.July 22, 2020 at 4:55 pm #28626kingshah89
Participantgood…
thank you!
your last reply helped me.
i really didn’t understood why “post categories” WERE NOT in my list as in your picture from here: https://documentation.ajaxsearchpro.com/general-settings/categories-and-terms-as-results
the “test” search is newly created and it benefit from the some new plugin which made the “cpt categories” available. (ACF EXTENDED)
if i’ll deactivate ACF Extended you’ll see that WP Categories NO LONGER COME AS RESULTS.
but
for the moment problem seems to be solved.
once again thanks !!p.s. if you stil want to visit to test what i ‘ve told you regarding the ACF extended plugin please tell me.
i’ll only keep your admin acces until you no longer need it.July 23, 2020 at 8:04 pm #28652kingshah89
Participanthi
i’ve got news…
and i think i am able to objectivate the problem.
go to https://kingshah.com/ and in the main search look for “Stoney”
you’ll obtain a lot of results and if you scroll down – in the “Other results” are the WP Categories and in Taxonmis the is nothing.
Other results they were not displyed because of “If result does not match any group? – Remove it”
So the objective problem is that main WP Categories fall into “not able to be grouped” amd Taxonomies generate no results.
If you still want to inspec the search you can see the “search homepage” in the admin area..
I keeped the same credentials for you… -
