ParticipantI just installed the update and now the search field is never initializing. I didn’t make any changes to settings. I tried to re-index the table and it’s still not working. I’ve included admin access in the FTP field.

KeymasterHi,
Thank you very much for the details. After clearing the site cache (WP Rocket) everything is all right: https://i.imgur.com/3QI9yWl.png
The old files were cached and WP Rocket did not automatically purge when the plugin updated, now it should be fine.August 1, 2024 at 3:12 pm #48867douglaskarr
ParticipantThanks and my apologies for that… I should have thought of that.

KeymasterNo problem, it happens a lot more often than you think!
Cache plugins should automatically purge when there is a plugin update, I don’t know why they don’t do that. It would prevent so many issues 🙂

ParticipantWas looking for this ticket and couldn’t find it. I tested and it’s still not initiating.

KeymasterHi Douglas,
It works all right on my end: https://i.imgur.com/dgjuaok.png
I tried multiple browsers, but everything seems to be all right. Try clearing up your browser cache too, that tends to be very persistent.August 2, 2024 at 11:53 am #48886Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterJust in case I have added a wildcard to WP Rocket to not minify the plugin files, as the sources are already minified and that usually doesn’t end well: https://i.imgur.com/mQ4OVF4.png

ParticipantGreat. Images aren’t being displayed now – is there anything I should do?

KeymasterMy mistake, I enabled the image lazy loader as I though it had something to do with the issue and forgot to turn it off. It should be okay now.

KeymasterHi Douglas,
Sorry to bother you. We had been contacted by the WP Rocket team about a possible solution in relation to the original issue you reported.
Unfortunately I don’t know if they can provide me a development license so I could try a potential solution. Would it be possible that you would allow me temporary back-end access for a couple of days to your website?I would like to try and debug possible solutions and the issue can be perfectly replicated on your setup, so it’s a perfect candidate for testing.
Let me know if that’s possible.
