Hi, I have many artist added on my site and all of them can be searched through the frontend but I recently added two artists on my site but none of them are showing into the search results. Also the age range trigger is not working on the frontend. Please check and let me know what is the issue.

March 5, 2019 at 10:59 am #21400Hi!
The artists are not showing up, because their age and gender is not set on the editor screen: https://i.imgur.com/wKe05qw.png
If you still want to include artists that does not meet the filter criteria, because the field is not set, you can enable this option: https://i.imgur.com/ACHJd5t.pngThe slider handles were a visual bug, I have changed the filter layout from column to flex, now it should be visible and working.

Those seem to be taxonomy term results, which are not affected by custom fields, because there is no connection to them. If you don’t need those results, then make sure that nothing is selected under the General Options -> Sources 2 panel: https://i.imgur.com/OIy47As.png
That will do the trick.

Sure, you can turn them off under the Autocomplete & Suggestions panel. Related documentation here.

March 7, 2019 at 9:44 am #21468Thank you. There is one more issue when I select Artist by name then it show no result.
For example
You can select lisa woodwork from artist by name list and it shows no user found.
March 7, 2019 at 10:19 am #21473Hi,
It seems that the ‘Artist By Name’ custom field is not set for Lisa Woodbrook. I have tested this via the advanced fields, and it seems to be missing: https://i.imgur.com/M3WmeqD.png
Best,
Once it’s set, it should work.

March 7, 2019 at 10:46 am #21476From where I can set this field Artist by name for her?
As I can see its added into the ajax search pro already.
See attached screenshotAttachments:

The custom field should be available on the Artists post editor screen somewhere. If it’s not visible, you might have to ask the theme author, as it’s probably managed somewhere in there.
You can also simply try to save the Lisa Woodbrook post, and might automatically update.

March 7, 2019 at 3:25 pm #21488I already typed Lisa Woodbrook’s detail in custom fields that are available on her page. I had to add these fields because in the new version of the theme those custom fields were gone which were automatically showing.
So I had to create new custom fileds using advance custom fields plugin.
Please suggest what should i do?March 7, 2019 at 3:37 pm #21490Okay, so the name field is not available anymore?
In that case, maybe using ACF to create a name field, and enter the names there as well. That will be always accessible, and can be used in the filter as well.

March 7, 2019 at 3:45 pm #21491Yeah those are not available.
But I created the new fields with titles Age and Gender.
Yes I did the same so why its not working?March 7, 2019 at 3:45 pm #21492Can you please look at the site backend once and check?
March 7, 2019 at 3:56 pm #21493Hi,
I can’t see the name custom field within the ACF list, so I don’t know, this is all I can see there: https://i.imgur.com/iPTzUCP.png
Best,
Did you create the ‘Artist By Name’ custom field? I am not sure where it comes from, by default that field should not exist, so it must have been created somewhere. That is why I’m guessing it’s a theme related field, or something like that.
