Hello, the new Ajax search Pro Update killed my website. White Screen of death. Please fix it. i have renamed the plugin by ftp now. Any option to rollback?
September 23, 2022 at 9:15 am #39402Hi,
Can you please add temporary FTP and back-end access so we can investigate the problem?
Are there any error logs or any error messages availalbe?First thing you can try is re-installing the plugin, in very rare cases, when there is either a minor temporary server outage or a script failure the files may not be copied correctly, or the extraction fails. We have seen that maybe once every 5000 installations, so it is rare, but happens.

Ernest Marcinko

September 23, 2022 at 9:21 am #39403Can you send us the last update to reinstall it?
September 23, 2022 at 9:34 am #39404I’m afraid no, that would make the matters even worse. If there is a data inconsistency anywhere it could lead to mich more serious issues.
It is the best to directly debug and resolve the issue, to see if there is any potential bug or conflict.

September 23, 2022 at 11:17 am #39410Hi Ernest,
this is Thomas.
The ajax search pro update did not kill our staging environment though (only our live site). On staging, some plugins are deactivated.
Do you have an email address for which I can use to create the wordpress user for you?
Regards
Thomas-
