Not searching in custom fields

I’m doing a search of a set of custom fields. When I type “5” it will bring back resources which have 5 at least 1 field. But if I type “5 grain” it will not bring back a resource it just returned about grains for year 5 (see attachments)

I have set it to “Search all custom fields” but it seems it isn’t. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi!

Check if the minimum word lenght is not set to 2 or higher by any chance, and set it to 1: https://i.imgur.com/gCBzOS0.png
Also, exact matching could also explain this issue. Check if the exact matching is disabled, as well as there is no exact match filters enabled.
