    Hi There,

We want to know how we can use one search for our entire multisite. We want to put the search in the header.php to do that we have to find a way to use it in all blogs.

your product info is not clear on how to get this done. Please provide us with the right information.

    Hi!

The ajax search pro databases are global along the multisite blogs. If you create an engine, it will be visible in each multisite instance.

All you need to do is to put the php shortcode to the header.php file to the position where you want it.

Thanks for the reply. So we need to create the search on the main blog?
And do we create a wordpress engine or a specific Ajax search pro engine?

You should do that on one of the sub-sites.

You should create an ajax search pro isntance just like if it was a single site installation.

You can check the documentation in order to see where the php shortcode is: http://wp-dreams.com/demo/wp-ajax-search-pro3/docs/#getting_started_placing_the_shortcode_to_the_theme

Thanks. It worked. We had the search in a slider earlier and then it doesn't work. Topic can be closed
