Hi there,
sorry to bother you again, hopefully with only a small issue.
so i want some pages to be displayed as page result and checked the option “search in pages” but for some reason they wont show up.
for example : i created a Page, called “Österreich” and i want this page (and others) to be displayed on http://wp12679218.server-he.de/hotels-overview/ if someone types “österreich” into the search field.
It worked some months ago,but now it didnt and i´m honestly dont know why, hope you can help me here ones again.

September 8, 2016 at 11:11 am #10014Hi,
I’m not able to log-in to the back-end, it requires .htaccess password, but I think I see the problem via FTP.
In the search query I see lots of pages and page parents excluded (Advanced Options -> Exclude results panel). For example the “Österreich” page has the ID 3841 and it looks like it’s excluded.
Please check the Advanced Options -> Exclude results panel for the page and page parent exclusions.
Best,
Ernest Marcinko

September 12, 2016 at 8:19 am #10075i deleted all entries at Advanced Options -> Exclude results, unfortunatly, the pages wont show up.
if you want to login via backend, the htaccess is “lpadmin” “x2D3ss3D2x”
September 12, 2016 at 8:45 am #10076Hi,
Thank you for the details!
I noticed if I click on more results they show up. I looked at the back-end, and on the mixed results order option the “page” value was moved down for some reason. I’ve re-ordered the list, now it shuld be ok: https://i.imgur.com/tGb9ITH.png
This might be a buggy behavior, I will definitely look into it 🙂

September 13, 2016 at 12:35 pm #10112Hey,
i think it is working now, but the ordering doesnt. i want the “pages” to show up first, and then the taxonomies including “österreich”, in the backend within the “odering” section, the pages are first, but on the live page are shown at the last position, also with a small scroll issue but thats not a problem. http://wp12679218.server-he.de/hotels-overview/
Could you please take a look one more time? Thank you so much for this amazing support!
September 14, 2016 at 12:40 pm #10125Hi,
I’ve discovered a possible bug with that list. After I re-ordered again and saved, it works again.
I will look into that for the future release.

September 14, 2016 at 2:30 pm #10126Hii,
thanks so far!
But it looks like something odd is still going on, the Search works fine for the example “österreich” but if you try it with “deutschland” :
1. the loading time is muchhhhhh longer
2. no “hotel” / custom post types are shown, only pages.“deutschland” uses the same settings and search form as österreich, only with “deutschland” keywords etc.
September 14, 2016 at 2:43 pm #10127ok so i think i found the issue why some posts wont show up etc.
please only try to check why it takes so long to load if “deutschland” is searched instead of österreich.
still…beautiful support and plugin
September 14, 2016 at 2:52 pm #10128so it would be awesome if you could check two things
1. why is the loading time for i.e “deutschland” longer than for “österreich”
2. why do the pages “schweiz, italien, spanien etc” show up when “deutschland” is searched? (same settings as österreich and österreich works just fine)September 14, 2016 at 2:53 pm #10129Hi,
Thankfully I have found that problem as well. It was also related to qTranslatex. I’ve made another change in the plugin file, it should be ok now. I’m going to apply this fix to the upcoming version as well of course.

September 14, 2016 at 3:19 pm #10130thank you so much…i starting to think about not using qTranslatex, since it makes so much problems, but anyways, thank you so much!
September 15, 2016 at 7:28 am #10147Hi!
TranslateX is good, it’s just a bit hard to integrate from my perspective 🙂
I have also found the reason why other results show up when you type in “deutchland”. It’s because those results have this word in their description as well. (within the shortcodes or in custom fields)
