ParticipantHello,
The problem I have is that the search shows the results in both of the available languages . The polylang compatibility is activated (on). Could you please assist me?

KeymasterHi,
Thank you for the details, I can confirm, this is an issue with the term search when polylang is active. I was able to replicate the problem on my test servers, as well as correct it. It requires changing one of the plugin files though.
I have tried to connect via FTP, but it does not seem to work. Can you please check if the URL is correct, and let me know if there is any special configuration I need (port etc..)? Thank you!If you prefer to make the fix yourself, then just follow these steps:
1. Make sure to back-up your files, just in case
2. Open up the wp-content/plugins/ajax-search-pro/includes/classes/search/class-asp-search-terms.php file on your server
3. Change it’s contents to this.
4. Save the file
After this change, it should start working correctly.April 15, 2019 at 2:48 pm #22152Wp18dev

KeymasterHi,
Thank you, but I think the FTP url might be incorrect, I cannot seem to be able to connect to the server.
The file change may not affect the back-end preview. Can you please test it on the front-end somewhere? Thank you!

KeymasterHi,
I am not sure what exactly is wrong here, but I am still not able to connect to the server, I am getting this error: https://i.imgur.com/2FocF3S.png
There was a plugin update released yesterday, where I addressed this issue. Can you please try upgrading, and then checking if it’s resolved by any chance? Thank you!

ParticipantHello,
How do I update the wordpress plugin?
Thanks.
PS: I’ll talk with my hosting and try to fix the FTP problem you are having. Or would you like to access the Cpanel to create a new FTP account yourself?
