Post search include Author field

Hello! We are using Ajax Search Pro for a Blog search – we’d like to include the author field in the search, so that if someone searches an author’s name, it will show all of the posts written by that author in the search.

This is different from the “User Search” where the authors are shown in the results – we only want the posts themselves to show in the results. We figure this functionality HAS to be available somewhere.

Sure!

Using the index table engine should solve this issue. On the index table options make sure that the index post author is enabled before creating the index.
