Hi Support,
We recently purchased the Pro version of your Ajax Search plugin. You can see it in action on this page: https://new.fearringtonfha.org/search/
The problem is that when you change the date field and select a different year, it does not change the date unless you ALSO select a day. We would like to simply be able to change the year WITHOUT clicking on a day.We also note that because we have so many categories available, it would be helpful if you could include a “Select All” checkbox at the top of the Filter by Categories list.
Are you able to assist us with these two requests? The more important one is the first.
Thank you for your help,
SarahSeptember 16, 2022 at 4:42 pm #39306Ernest MarcinkoKeymasterHi,
Thank you for the details, it helps a lot.
1. The datepicker – this might be a bit problematic without custom coding, as the datepicker needs a specific day to trigger. I can look up the datepicker documentation, but there is a very high chance it is not doable.
2. You can enable that here: https://i.imgur.com/3Tdv3ih.png

I thought that might be the case, regarding #1. Please let me know what you find in the documentation.
Thanks for the screenshot for #2! We are excited you offer that capability. Can you please indicate where to find that screen? I have checked all of the submenu options under Ajax Search Pro and do not see the screen in the screenshot. I have attached a screenshot of the submenu options that I see (I have upgraded to the latest version of the plugin).
Thanks!

1. No good news here. There is no such feature. I have tried custom coding something to trigger the datepicker “change” events upon the year selection, but that just creates even more issues, and the whole thing malfunctions.
2. Sure! Open up the Ajax Search Pro menu, then click on the search instance you created. After that, you will be able to find that screen.

I’m sorry I could not help you with the datepicker. Usually I recommend custom codes wherever possible, but this somehow got me.
