Problems with search using TranslatePress

Hi,

I am using Ajax Search Pro together with the language plugin TranslatePress. However Ajax Search Pro only searches the native language, not the translated language. Is there something I am missing in the settings?

For example: https://www.piigab.com/en/products/hardware/ (search bar on the top)
Searching for products and text usually shows “no results” msg, ie searching for “combined CO2”.
Sometimes, it shows the results in the default language (Swedish), ie searching for “M-bus 900s”.

Is this something you have a solution for?

Hi Patrick,

The plugin only supports WPML and Polylang plugins officially. Unfortunately I don’t know how translatepress works, or where it stores the translations either. If it is stored within a custom field related to the original posts, then choosing those fields could work – but I don’t know if results would show in the correct language.
