ParticipantHi Ernest,
We are using your plugin together with a Query Loop block, and experiencing something strange happening with the Pagination. Interestingly, I was able to recreate the exact same issue on your website as well (https://ajaxsearchpro.com/query-loop-search-and-filter/).
When Ajax Search Pro is connected to the Query Loop via the Live Search Target setting, two things happen.
When using the Pagination block, instead of the block setting Reload Full Page (disabled) being honoured, the page refreshes and you find yourself at the top of the page.
When a filter is clicked, the pagination disappears entirely.
I was very happy with the end result we got on the same site for the Publications section https://env-fmsbsite-redev.kinsta.cloud/publications/ also with the Query Loop block + Ajax Search Pro. Feel free to check it out, did quite a bit of custom work on it. But unfortunately it seems like the Pagination brings up some issues.
I am hoping this can be resolved. Honestly, first prize would be to be able to add a Load More function to the Query Block, should that at all be possible, but if not, working pagination will be fine. 🙂

KeymasterHi,
Thank you for all the details!
Unfortunately this is not accidental. At the moment there is no way to not reload the page as the event handlers on the pagination can’t be reattached so it defaults back into normal pagination.
I have raised an issue about this on our issue tracker. I’m working on some other features right now, but I marked it to the next release milestone. I think I have a polyfill solution for a similar issue with Elementor, will check if it can be applied to the query loop as well.

ParticipantGood morning Ernest,
Thank you for letting me know.
Do you now when (approximately) the next release milestone will be?
The project I am using this on is due for go-live soon, so I just want to plan accordingly.

KeymasterMy guess is within 2 weeks. This is surely going to be addressed, but it is still very much possible that it can’t be done, live paginations/load more features are generally a huge issue after live queries.
