the redirect result page url, from my search page, http://3dfrenchproperty.co.uk/2017 ,
is showing http://3dfrenchproperty.co.uk/2017/?s=
– without the query string after the ?s=
When I add the search term(s) to the url it works, eg http://3dfrenchproperty.co.uk/2017/?s=dole
What do I need to do to get the query string added to the url?
When I deactivate all the other plugins I see one result only, not related to the search. All my plugins are up to date.
October 8, 2019 at 8:58 am #24244Hi!
Make sure that the search results override is activated. With that, the plugin will try to override the search results on the results page, and the (encoded) query string should show in the address bar as well. That should do the trick!

October 8, 2019 at 9:24 am #24245Hi Earnest,
thanks for getting back to me so fast!
I tried that (activate search results override) and I get no results and the following URL:
http://3dfrenchproperty.co.uk/2017/?s=&asp_active=1&p_asid=2&p_asp_data=Y3VycmVudF9wYWdlX2lkPTIwNjE2JnF0cmFuc2xhdGVfbGFuZz0wJmZpbHRlcnNfY2hhbmdlZD0wJmZpbHRlcnNfaW5pdGlhbD0xJmFzcF9nZW4lNUIlNUQ9ZXhhY3QmYXNwZiU1QnByaWNlX18xJTVEJTVCbG93ZXIlNUQ9MTAwMDAuMDAmYXNwZiU1QnByaWNlX18xJTVEJTVCdXBwZXIlNUQ9MTAwMDAwMC4wMCZhc3BmJTVCdG93bl9fMiU1RD1MT05TK0xFK1NBVU5JRVImYXNwZiU1QnByb3BlcnR5X3R5cGVfXzMlNUQ9JmFzcGYlNUJub19vZl9yb29tc19fNCU1RD0mYXNwZiU1QmRlc2NyaXB0aW9uX2VuZ2xpc2hfXzUlNUQ9JmFzcGYlNUJwb3N0Y29kZV9fNiU1RD0mYXNwZiU1QmFnZW50X183JTVEPQ==
Any ideas?
cheers
MattOctober 8, 2019 at 9:37 am #24246Hi Matt,
That means, that there are no results matching the criteria. It is very likely a configuration related issue.
Best,
Make sure to check that the correct post types are selected under the General options -> Sources panel, as well as the custom field filters are set correctly. If you have any exclusions set as well, check them under the Advanced options panel.
