    Hello
I think I like the new and updated plugin! Just starting with it again tonight.
    Questions:
    1. I just want it to search “pages”, not posts also. Do I just select “search in pages” in the general options?
    2. Is there a way for the search to go right to the page? No drop down with options, just eneter keword, hit return and it goes to the relevant page?
    3. If i just want pages, should I set the Index Table Engine to ON and just have Pages in the right box?
    4. Should I enable Statistics Database in Autocomplete and Keyword Suggestions? What is Statistics Database? Does the just pull keywords from my site instead of google?
    5. Is there somewhere on a “page” that I should put the keyword I want that page searched for? Or does it just search for the word everywhere?
    6. Is there a way to round the edges in the design of the actual search box?

Thanks for your help. I am new to this and learning, so please explain clearly and thoroughly. All help greatly appreciated.

    Brett

    Hi!

Thank you for the kind words!

    1. Yes, exactly.
    2. Not yet. This feature was requested by many, I’m definitely going to implement it as soon as I can 🙂
    3. Not neccessarily, it works without the index table just like in older versions. You can use the index table engine as well, but you will have to configure it first under the index table submenu page. Think of the index table engine as a different way of looking up results – the plugin basically will use it’s own database table of generated keywords to look through instead of the whole posts table. It’s a huge CPU saver for big databases. I strongly recommend reading all four Index Table chapters in the documentation to get the idea what exactly this is, and how it works.
    4. Statistics database contains all the keywords that had been searched for with the plugin (if the search statistics is enabled, on the Search Statistics submenu). So if you have the statistics enabled and someone searches for “xyz”, then it’s logged.
    5. By default it will look in the page Title, content and the excerpt (if available), so you don’t have to put keywords anywhere. You can configure this on the General Options -> Sources panel.
    6. Yes, there is. The rounded edges in web-development are defined by a property named “Border Radius”. On the Theme Options -> Overall box layout panel you can define this border radius: https://i.imgur.com/3IvV6CI.png

    Great thanks!!
    As for:
“2. Not yet. This feature was requested by many, I’m definitely going to implement it as soon as I can”…..do you have a time frame on this? Just wondering because that would be an incredible feature, the only thing I can tell is currently lacking, and would really put you ahead of the competition in both plug ins AND directory themes!

    Thanks again!

I released an update yesterday, it contains a beta version of the 2. request 🙂
Just re-donwload and re-install the plugin, and the new options are on the General Options -> Behavior panel: https://i.imgur.com/HQqS1el.png
