Hello, when I check the options
Redirect to search results page when clicking on search icon?
and make it true, when searching and clicking on search icon then the search results doesnt appear.I am searching for custom fields, and also taxonomies.
But the search result doesnt appear when I search on options above.Can you please help me to solve this issue?
Hi!
This option basically redirects to the default wordpress search results. By default the original wordpress search cannot search custom taxonomies and custom fields, that is why you cannot see any results. There are plugins out there which may help, like Relevanssi, but there is no 100% solution for this yet.
